Tier One Picks

Privacy Policy

Draft for review — effective [DATE]. Not yet published.

1. What this covers

This policy explains what Tier One Picks collects when you use the app, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to get it deleted. It covers the Tier One Picks website and account. It is written by [LEGAL ENTITY], based in [STATE].

2. If you only joined the waitlist

This section applies to you if you gave us your email address on our home page and have not created an account. It is the whole of what we hold about you.

What we store: your email address, the date you joined, and — if you arrived from a link that said so — which site or post sent you. Nothing else. No name, no IP address kept, no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels.

What we use it for: to email you once when Tier One Picks opens up. That is the only reason we asked.

Who else sees it: Supabase, which stores it, and the service we use to send that one email. Nobody else. We do not sell it, share it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers.

Getting off the list: every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or write to tier1picksapp@gmail.com and we will remove you. We keep a record that you unsubscribed — that is deliberate, so a later import cannot accidentally add you back.

3. What we collect when you have an account

Your account. Your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile information from Google. We never see or store a password — sign-in is by emailed link or Google.

Your fantasy leagues. When you connect a Sleeper league, we store its league ID, season, your team's roster ID, the league's name, and its scoring settings, plus a copy of the league's rosters and draft results.

Your drafts. If you use the draft room or a mock draft, we save your draft settings and picks so you can close the tab and resume.

AI chat.We store a rolling summary of your conversation so the assistant remembers context, along with a count of messages used against your plan's limit. We do not keep full transcripts of your chats — reloading the page starts a fresh conversation.

Billing. If you subscribe, we store a Stripe customer ID and your plan status. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never reach our systems.

What we do not collect. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no location data, no selling of anything. We do not use cookies for tracking — only the cookie that keeps you signed in.

4. Information about other people in your league

When you connect a league, the copy we store includes the display names of your league-mates, because the app has to show you who owns which roster when you evaluate a trade or view playoff odds. Those people did not sign up for Tier One Picks. We treat their information the same way we treat yours: it is used only to display your league to you, it is never sold or shared for advertising, and it is deleted when you delete your league or account. If someone in your league wants their information removed, they can contact us at tier1picksapp@gmail.com.

5. Why we use it

To run the product you asked for: producing rankings and projections for your league's scoring, advising your draft, evaluating trades and waiver claims, showing playoff odds, answering your questions, enforcing plan limits, and billing you if you subscribe. We also use aggregate, non-identifying usage information to find bugs and control costs. We do not use your data to train AI models.

6. Who else sees it

We use these service providers, and each receives only what it needs to do its job:

  • Supabase — stores your account and app data, and handles sign-in.
  • Vercel and Render — host the website and the service that runs our projections.
  • Cloudflare — stores the projection files the app reads. No personal information is kept there.
  • Stripe — processes payments and handles all card data.
  • Anthropic — provides the AI that answers your chat questions. Your message and the relevant league context are sent so it can answer. Not used to train their models.
  • Sleeper— we read your league from Sleeper's public API when you connect it. We do not send them anything about you.

We may also disclose information if legally required, or as part of a business transfer — in which case this policy travels with the data.

7. We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We have not done so in the past twelve months. There is no advertising on Tier One Picks and no "Do Not Sell or Share" action is needed, because there is nothing to opt out of.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your account and league data for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep it.

Billing records are kept for 7 years, because tax law requires it. Those records show what you paid, not what you did in the app.

Connected league data is refreshed each time you sync, and is deleted when you disconnect the league or close your account.

9. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to: tell you what we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it. California residents have these rights specifically under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know the categories of information collected and disclosed, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of them.

We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lesser experience for making a privacy request.

10. How to make a request

Email tier1picksapp@gmail.com from the address on your account and tell us what you want. We will confirm within 10 days and complete the request within 45 days, or tell you why we need more time (up to another 45). If we cannot verify that the request came from you, we will say so rather than act on it. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of their authority.

11. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your rows in our database is enforced at the database itself, so one account cannot read another's data even if the app has a bug. Payment card data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — if we ever have a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

12. Children

Tier One Picks is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact tier1picksapp@gmail.com and we will delete it.

13. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
