- ADP
- Average Draft Position — where a player is typically being drafted across real drafts, used as a market baseline to compare our rank against.
- VOR (Value Over Replacement)
- How many points a player is projected to score above "replacement level" — the best player at that position still available for free (waivers or late in the draft) given your league's settings. The Draft room shows a risk-adjusted version of this number (weighted toward a conservative, downside outcome), not the plain median figure.
- VONA (Value Over Next Available)
- Points you'd lose at a position specifically by waiting until your next draft pick, based on who's likely to be gone by then. A draft-context version of VOR.
- Floor / Median / Ceiling
- The 10th, 50th, and 90th percentile of a player's projected outcome range — a conservative, balanced, and high-upside number respectively, not three separate guesses.
- PPR
- Points Per Reception — a scoring format that awards a full point for every catch, which boosts pass-catching running backs and high-volume receivers relative to standard scoring.
- Half PPR
- A scoring format that awards half a point per reception — a middle ground between Standard and full PPR.
- Standard
- A scoring format that awards no points for receptions — only yardage and touchdowns count.
- FLEX
- A roster slot that can be filled by more than one position (commonly RB, WR, or TE), giving you flexibility in who you start there.
- Superflex
- A FLEX slot that can also be filled by a QB, which sharply raises quarterback value since teams can start two.
- Streaming
- Picking up a different player off waivers most weeks — instead of rostering one fixed player — to chase the best matchup. Most common at Kicker and Defense/Special Teams.
- Handcuff
- The backup running back to a player you already own, drafted specifically as insurance in case the starter gets hurt.
- Waiver wire
- The pool of unrostered players in your league that teams can claim, usually in a set priority order or via a bidding system, between games.
- Tier
- A cluster of players ranked closely enough together that the order within the group matters less than which group a player falls into.
- Snake draft
- A draft format where the pick order reverses every round instead of repeating — see the "How a snake draft works" guide for the full walkthrough.
